CityJoy, a non-profit supporting organization of Bethlehem Baptist Church is seeking a part-time (15-20 hrs per week) Administrative Assistant. This role assists with providing administrative support for urban ministries in the City of Minneapolis.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
Support HR functions including employee handbook revisions and training tracking.
Aid in project management to enhance workflow efficiency.
Handle staff and donor communication, including emails and newsletters.
Assist in planning and executing occasional events.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
1-2 years of experience in an administrative role.
Skilled in basic computer processing and general knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, Canva, and Quickbooks.
Experience in basic bookkeeping practices.
High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Detail-oriented, observant, and team-oriented with a willingness to work behind the scenes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Thrive on completing tasks in fluid environments.
Ability to work well under direct supervision or independently with minimal instruction.
Onsite completion of work at the CityJoy office with a possible occasional remote option.

WORK SCHEDULE:
15-20 hours per week, primarily during business hours.
Flexibility for occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

COMPENSATION:
Competitive salary based on experience.
