Ness Avenue Baptist Church is seeking a Full Time Associate Pastor of Family
Ministries that will oversee the span of ministry from Nursery to College; including the
Youth Ministry, children’s summer ministries, and church internship program.
Ness Avenue Baptist Church is affiliated with the Baptist General Conference of
Canada. We are an inter-generational community of about 200 regular attendees. The
Lord has blessed us with piles of kids, from the little ones all the way up to the oldest
kids, our seniors. We love to serve together, eat together, worship together, and reach
out beyond our walls together. With deep roots in the St. James neighborhood of
Winnipeg, we are a church with a heartbeat for the community.
The Associate Pastor will work alongside the Lead Pastor to shepherd and implement
the mission and vision of Ness Avenue Baptist Church. He will be a servant leader who
instills vision and develops a passion for Jesus and His church.
He will handle some of the administrative duties of the church as well as assist the Lead
Pastor with Pastoral care as needed.
As Pastor of Family Ministries, he will be required to preach, teach, and provide spiritual
direction, counseling, visitation, administration, and leadership for the above ministries.
