Jackson Hole Classical Academy Seeks a Dean of Academics

The Dean of Academics will plan, oversee, develop, and refine curriculum, as well as work with faculty to ensure the curriculum is taught according to the school’s philosophy of education. This position will join the Academy’s Leadership Team and report to the Head of School. The Dean of Academics will play a central role in preparing the school to apply for accreditation through Cognia (formerly AdvanceEd), as well as assist with coordinating college counseling.

A successful Dean of Academics candidate will have the following prerequisite skills, credentials, and expertise:
• Master’s Degree or Higher
• Experience in K-12 academic leadership
• An understanding of and alignment with the mission of our classical, Christian school
• Teaching experience (and a desire to continue teaching)
• The ability to work as a member of a cohesive leadership team

The curriculum at JH Classical Academy is in the classical liberal arts tradition.
