We are in independent Baptist church located in Greenville, SC. We are lead by a plurality of pastors. We are served by deacons who lead and mobilize others to serve. We are ruled congregationally.

For God’s glory and by the power of the Spirit, Hampton Park Baptist Church exists to proclaim and to display to all people everywhere the good news that God is calling out a people for His name from every nation, kindred, and tongue through the redemptive work of the only Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

He will serve the other pastors and the congregation by leading and overseeing the youth, and college ministries of the church.

General Ministry Responsibilities:
• Oversee, lead, and coordinate the youth ministry at HPBC
• Oversee the college ministry at HPBC
• Oversee and assist with planning the upper school chapel at HPCS (Hampton Park Christian School

Specific Responsibilities:
o Equip and assist parents as they disciple their teenagers
o Lead the youth volunteer team
o Teach and oversee junior high and senior high Sunday School
o Lead teen meetings and coordinate the involvement of the teens
o Counsel teens and parents
o Schedule, plan, and execute teen calendar items
o Participate in activities (church, school, and community) in which members of the youth ministry are involved
o Oversee, guide and support the college ministry lead teachers
o Occasionally teach in college Sunday School
o Occasionally speak in upper school chapel
o Assist in planning upper school chapel
o Teach an upper school bible class

Other Responsibilities
o Read & study the Scriptures, and pray
o Make in-home and hospital visits
o Preach and teach in Sunday School, worship services, and other settings
o Participate in weekly pastoral staff and monthly pastoral body meetings
o Attend weddings and funerals whenever possible
o Communicate with and visit members in the assigned member care group
o Regularly attend deacon’s meetings
o Counsel members, as needed
o Co-ordinate ministry efforts between children and teens with the Pastor for Children
o Serve on child safety committee
o Obtain and regularly utilize CDL bus license for youth activities

Pastoral qualifications (1Timothy 3; Titus 1)
College degree
Post-grad-degree (preferred)
Ministry experience (preferred)

$55,000-$65,000 plus benefits
