Kenny Ortiz is Assistant Professor of History and Theology & Associate Director of College Recruiting for Bethlehem College and Seminary. He is also an adjunct professor of ethics at Spurgeon College, serves as a pastor at Cities Church (St. Paul, MN), and hosts the podcast Theology for the Rest of Us. Kenny is a big fan of Philadelphia and Villanova sports teams, loves board games, and he’s a self-proclaimed Disney enthusiast.
Kenny earned a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Spurgeon College, an M.Div. from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Historical Theology at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, researching the development of neo-evangelicalism in the mid-twentieth century. Kenny lives in Bloomington, MN with his wife Malaina, they have one daughter.
