Come Over to Cameroon: A Macedonian Call

Share

In the stillness of the night, a vision appeared to Paul: a man of Macedonia standing and pleading, “Come over to Macedonia and help us” (Acts 16:9). Today, we echo this plea from the heart of Africa: Come over to Cameroon and help us.

The Lord Is Moving Mightily
Cameroon is a land where Satan has established his throne. It is almost impossible to find a church where false teaching is not sung, prayed, and preached. False prophets are constantly streaming in from Nigeria. Healthy churches are practically non-existent. But God is stirring hearts and minds. People are beginning to question the false teachings of legalism and prosperity theology. The hunger for truth is palpable. Revival is on the horizon. We stand at a critical juncture–a moment ripe with the potential to advance God’s kingdom. But we need your help.

The Harvest Is Plentiful, but the Workers Are Few
Our seminary and church are bursting at the seams, and we are unable to keep pace with the rapid growth. We need hands and feet on the ground, ready to serve in various capacities.

  • Professors: To shape the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and ministers
  • Administrators: To ensure our institutions run smoothly and effectively
  • Church Staff and Ministers: To shepherd growing congregations and plant new churches
  • Construction Managers: To oversee the expansion of our facilities
  • Janitors and Maintenance Managers: To maintain our building and create environments conducive to learning and worship
  • Biblical Counselors: To provide biblical guidance and support to those in need
  • Disciple-Makers: To mentor and grow new believers in their faith

Language: No Barrier to Service
While knowledge of French is helpful in Cameroon, it is not a prerequisite for service. Many people speak English, and there are ample opportunities to serve while learning the language. Your willingness to come is more valuable than your current language skill.

A Call to Action
If you have been waiting for a nudge in the mission field, consider yourself nudged. We seek to raise the banner of God-centered, reformed theology over a land hungry for truth, where we enjoy religious liberty to do so. The fields are white for harvesting, and laborers are needed.

  • Come if you are ready to serve: If you feel ready today, we welcome you with open arms.
  • Come to test this nudge: Even a short-term visit can confirm God’s calling on your life.
  • Prepare to come: Engage with your mission’s pastor, raise support, and begin making your way.
  • Come ready to suffer: You must leave behind all you know and face unknown challenges and opposition, but we invite you to come trusting that God will give you all the grace and strength you need for every trial, just as He has done for us and so many missionaries before.

A Land of Opportunity: Cameroon offers unique opportunities for those called to serve

  • Growing Churches: Be part of vibrant, expanding congregations
  • Educational Impact: Shape minds in our seminary and church(es)
  • Cultural Exchange: Experience the rich diversity of Cameroonian cultures
  • Spiritual Growth: Deepen your faith as you serve others and learn to trust God in new ways
  • Kingdom Building: Participate in the tangible expansion of God’s kingdom

 The Time is Now
The need is urgent, and the opportunity is immense. We stand, like the Macedonian in Paul’s vision, pleading, “Come over to Cameroon and help us.” Your skills, passion, and willingness to serve can make a profound difference in countless lives.

Will you answer the call? Will you join us in this work? The Lord is moving in Cameroon, and we invite you to be part of this journey.

Come. Serve. Grow. Make disciples. Build the kingdom. Cameroon awaits you.
