Commencement Rescheduled, Again

Share
Bethlehem College & Seminary’s Eleventh Annual Commencement Exercises will now be held at 7:00 pm, CDT, on Friday, May 21, 2021, at the North Campus of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Date and location remain the same. The time has changed to 7:00 pm.

Planning for this year’s live, in-person Commencement has required navigating both COVID-19 mandates and uncertainties related to the recent trial of former Minneapolis police officer, Derek Chauvin. We had been concerned that our Commencement guests might have to navigate curfew restrictions in the trial’s completion, but now that a verdict has been reached and the community is seemingly at peace with the outcome, we can move back to a later start time to accommodate a larger number of attendees. We will stay at the North Campus for that reason, as there we are able to seat more guests.

We apologize for the stops and starts of this year’s plans, but we suppose they reflect the state of so many of your own plans during this extraordinary season. All that said, let us rejoice with thanksgiving to God for His grace and mercies upon us in these challenging times. We are now eagerly looking forward to celebrating the goodness of God during our annual commencement ceremony on May 21, at 7:00 p.m., with the procession of a new class of graduates of Bethlehem College & Seminary.
