Greever Joins Faculty

Bethlehem College & Seminary announces that Dr. Joshua M. Greever will join the faculty as Associate Professor of New Testament in August 2021.

“I am so pleased to announce the hiring of Dr. Joshua Greever as a new member of our faculty. Dr. Greever comes to us with significant pastoral and academic experience and will be a strong addition to our seminary faculty,” said President Timothy C. Tomlinson.

Dr. Greever currently serves as Associate Professor of New Testament at Grand Canyon University in Arizona, where he has taught a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses since 2015. He is also an ordained minister who formerly pastored Pleasant Home Baptist Church in Prague, Oklahoma, and is an active member of Trinity Bible Church in Phoenix.

Dr. Greever earned his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Philosophy degrees at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He wrote his doctoral dissertation on “The New Covenant in Ephesians” under the supervision of Dr. Thomas R. Schreiner. Greever is also a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Religion in 2005.

“Dr. Greever is an experienced professor and committed churchman who is passionate for God’s Word and his glory. I am thrilled to welcome him to the faculty of Bethlehem College & Seminary,” said Dr. Brian Tabb, Academic Dean.

Greever is an accomplished scholar whose work has appeared in Tyndale Bulletin, The Southern Baptist Journal of Theology, Journal of Biblical and Theological Studies, Credo Magazine, Fides et Humilitas, and other publications.

Dr. Greever and his wife, Amelia, are the parents of four children.
