We are very pleased to announce that Dr. Jared Compton has accepted the position of Assistant Professor of New Testament and Greek at Bethlehem College & Seminary. Dr. Compton will be joining us full-time this summer and will be teaching courses in both the seminary and the college.
Dr. Compton earned his Ph.D. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Deerfield, IL). He is an accomplished author having written two books and numerous articles. He is also an experienced professor having taught for several years at a seminary in Michigan. Dr. Compton is coming to us from his current position as Pastor for Discipleship at Crossway Community Church in Bristol, Wisconsin, where he has served for the last five years.
With his combination of academic, pastoral, and authorial skills and experiences, Jared is especially qualified to teach and disciple our students with the kind of care that shepherds our students hearts and souls as well as their minds. Jared is married to Charisse, and they have three children.
We thank the Lord for his benevolence in bringing the Compton family to Bethlehem College & Seminary and look forward to welcoming them and ministering together with them for the glory of God and for the good of the church worldwide.
