We are a small, Christian classical school in Alton, Iowa, seeking to hire a full-time classroom teacher for a combined 1st/2nd grade classroom.
Our school meets full-time, four days a week. We are an ecumenical school that serves families from various denominations in our community. TCA is centered around virtue formation, the liberal arts, and the great books.
The opportunity to teach with us in our first few years of operation is unique because each of our faculty contributes significantly to the shaping of our curriculum and school culture. We aim to cultivate a true faculty of friends who learn together as we teach; we are a community of learners who love to read and discuss great books and big ideas at all levels of the school.
