Assistant Pastor, Rock Creek Bible Church
We are prayerfully seeking the man of God’s choosing to be the next Assistant Pastor at Rock Creek Bible Church. We desire a man whose passion is in children’s ministry, as his primary responsibility will be to lead our Christian Education program, sharing the gospel with and discipling the children of our congregation. The Assistant Pastor will also assist in adult teaching, discipleship, and visitation ministries and be able to fill the pulpit in the Senior Pastor’s absence. We are seeking a born-again follower of Jesus Christ who, above all, seeks the glory of God in all things (1 Corinthians 10:31). He will be a humble servant leader (Matthew 20:26, Mark 10:42-45, John 13:13-17) whose delight and trust are in the Lord (Psalm 37:3-4) and in His Word (2 Timothy 3:16-17). He will meet God’s prerequisites for eldership as laid out in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9 and be in agreement with Rock Creek Bible Church’s Statement of Faith. A statement of what we believe can be found at https://www.rockcreekbible.org/about-us/about-rock-creek-bible-church
