The evening will feature a prayer appeal from Dr. Dieudonné Tamfu and Pastor Tom Steller to raise up a building for the saints of Église Baptiste Bethléem— TCT’s first international church plant—and the students of Bethlehem College and Seminary, Yaoundé, Cameroon.

Our vision is to engage local churches on the front lines of global ministry, inspiring, equipping, and sending their own to the nations. Strategically mobilizing your congregation takes prayer, preparation, and a plan. During this dinner, held at the Hampton on Tuesday evening, the Compel team will share proven strategies to help you develop a mobilization culture in your church.

Monday, 10am–Noon
The study of theology leads to doxology. This idea has long been championed by many pastors and theologians, including such notables as R.C. Sproul and J.I. Packer. Your vision of God matters. Each week the local church gathers to express its theology through songs, prayers, and sermons. Spirit-led, Christ-centered worship is the result of applying our biblical “Big God” theology in our Sunday morning liturgies, and is a crucial part of discipling our people.
This session explores theological values and spiritual principles that influence and shape worship leaders as we contextually plan and lead our people in a Spirit-led, Christ-centered encounter with God every week. I have invited a panel of current worship pastors to join me in “workshopping” some of the common challenges in the local church, leading us all to prayerfully consider how the Spirit may be pleased to continue to mold us through worship – to the praise of His glorious grace.

Monday, 1–4pm
One need in our generation is to recover Christian ministry from the ways our hurried, distracted, trivial, decadent modern world has deformed it. In this track, we’ll consider the attention, pace, and depth of the unmodern ministry, gleaning wisdom along the way from pastors of the past.
The greatest cause in the world is to fulfill the Great Commission by planting Christ-treasuring churches together. We all desire churches with a big view of God and healthy structure. But we also want churches marked by the sweet aroma of Gospel-formed culture. Churches that smell like the fruit of the Spirit are marked by honesty, humility and honor. As Gospel preaching fuels Gospel culture, from that fertile soil comes Great Commission going and sending.
