David Mathis serves as a senior teacher and executive editor at Desiring God, and is a pastor at Cities Church in St. Paul. Mathis currently resides in Minneapolis with his wife and four children. His book, Humbled: Welcoming the Uncomfortable Work of God (B&H, 2021), teaches how humility is a gift from God to be received with gladness for our good.
