The worship leader will regularly plan and lead worship services in a way that is focused on Christ and aligns with the church’s values for worship. Key responsibilities include:
–Crafting worship services in a way that turns our hearts to Christ and the gospel
–Leading worship vocally while playing either guitar or keyboard
–Leading and recruiting volunteers for the worship team
The worship leader will be a man of godly character whose life meets the biblical leadership requirements found in 1 Timothy 3:8-13. He should be involved in the life of Good News Church (including participation in a small group), so that his relationships with the church family are strong and so that he can lead us in a way that is sensitive to how God is currently working in the church.
This position pays a modest stipend of $150 per week.
