OVERVIEW
The Worship Pastor role is a full-time, salaried ministry position responsible for building a music ministry and personally leading the people of Four Anchors Church in Christ-centered, Spirit-led worship. This role blends musical excellence, pastoral leadership, spiritual vitality, and theological depth to help our congregation glorify God and encounter Him through gathered worship.

Minimum Requirements:
-A growing, vibrant, and mature relationship with Jesus Christ
-Demonstrated spiritual maturity in character and conduct
-Proven competency in expressing Spirit-empowered gifts that edify others
-Musical proficiency (vocally and instrumentally) with the ability to lead others into worship
-Proven ability to lead and develop teams
-Strong communication and organizational skills
-Alignment with the theological convictions and mission of Four Anchors Church
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Worship Leadership (50%)
Extend the ministry of the Senior Pastor into the shape and execution of the corporate weekend worship service through planning, preparing, rehearsing, improving, and leading weekly gatherings that exalt Christ, evidence the work of the Holy Spirit, engage the congregation, and reflect the culture and mission of Four Anchors. Oversee setlists, service flow, and creative elements. Equip and empower worship leaders, musicians, and production volunteers to serve with excellence and joy.
Team Development & Pastoral Care (30%)
Undershepherd the worship ministry team by cultivating spiritual maturity and strengthening collective musical competencies. Recruit, engage, and equip new team members, fostering a culture marked by spiritual vitality, unity, and excellence.
Church Leadership & Collaboration (20%)
Serve as a vital member of the pastoral and staff team, contributing to the overall leadership and direction of the church. Collaborate with pastors and ministry leaders to shape services, seasons, and events. Participate in staff meetings, retreats, and other rhythms of leadership development.
REPORTS & RELATIONSHIPS
The Worship Pastor reports directly to the Senior Pastor, Seth McCoy, and works in close partnership with the production team and other ministry leaders.
