Pastor Tom’s Return to Cameroon

Share

The apostles often expressed in their letters how they longed to be with the churches face to face. Pastor Tom and our church have felt that longing ever since he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. But miraculously, even though his pancreas was taken out, Pastor Tom finally came back to Cameroon after 2 years, and now our joy is complete! He is back to teaching and dreaming with us as before. We thank God for your prayers that God would restore his health and bless his time here.

Our church is going through the book of Colossians. Last month, two members and myself recited the whole book of Colossians for the congregation. Our prayer is that the church would know and love Christ more through this sermon series.

October marked the 5th year of our church plant, and we have so much to praise God for. We praise God for the growing understanding of God’s word. We praise God for members memorizing Scripture for the first time. We praise God that everyone who visits our church says that our church feels like a family. We praise God for members caring for one another and loving each other with sincere brotherly affection. God has lavished His grace upon our church, and we pray for more grace in the years to come.

We will be legally required to begin construction next year. So we plan to start building soon! Please spread the word about this building project and consider giving for the advancement of the gospel in Cameroon.

Please consider giving and please share our website. You can give here.

  3. Please pray that God would provide the funds needed for us to build a meeting place for the church and a space for our seminary.
  4. Please pray that God would help the seminary students to work hard and be sanctified through their education this school year.
