Jericho Road, a ministry of CityJoy, is seeking to hire a part-time employee to serve as a Food Distribution Assistant.
Responsibilities:
The Food Distribution Assistant is responsible for organizing inventory, stocking pantry shelves, and assisting with loading and unloading food supplies, both in the warehouse and at the CityJoy Center.
This position involves working closely with staff, volunteers, and community partners to ensure that food resources are distributed effectively, safely, and in alignment with the ministry’s mission to serve those in need.
Qualifications:
Must be able to regularly lift 50 pounds
Dependable and punctual
Must have a valid drivers license
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and high responsibility
Proven verbal and written communication skills
Compassionate engagement with those served by the ministry, staff, and volunteers
Profess salvation in Christ and have assurance of salvation
Maintain a growing, vital and personal relationship with God
Be a participating member of a local church
Embrace and live out the mission of Jericho Road and Cityjoy
Have a heart for ministry
Schedule:
This position is scheduled to work 15.5 hours per week on:
Tuesdays between 8:00 AM to 3:00PM at the JRM Elliot Park site
Wednesdays from 8:00 AM to 12:30PM at the JRM Elliot Park site
Thursdays, 12:30PM – 4:30PM split between the JRM Elliot Park and Powderhorn sites
Pay & Benefits:
Pay: $18 – $20 per hour, depending on experience
