ABOUT NORTH CENTER
North Center is a small, multicultural congregation in the heart of Brooklyn Park, one of the most diverse communities in the Minneapolis area. We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) and the Twin Cities Metro Baptist Association (TCMBA). Two of our pastors are BCS graduates.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a committed follower of Jesus with leadership experience in congregational worship. Proficiency in a lead instrument (e.g., piano, guitar) is preferred but not required. A love for the local church, a teachable spirit, and a desire to serve King Jesus are most essential. This role can be a short-term internship (3–6 months) or part-time depending on experience and qualifications.
INTERNSHIP HIGHLIGHTS
– Help lead and coordinate the congregational singing on the Lord’s Day.
– Collaborate closely with Pastor Jeremiah Knoop, a Bethlehem graduate with 15+ years of experience in pastoral ministry.
– Optional opportunities to preach occasionally on the Lord’s Day, participate in monthly elders’ meetings, and join a small group for deeper community.
Just 10 minutes north of downtown Minneapolis.
Compensation: based on experience and capacity.
