The Pastor of Youth and College Ministry will lead spiritual formation for students from 7th grade through college, teaching and equipping them to grow as followers of Christ and be passionate about the gospel.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop the Youth and College Ministries by providing leadership over regular gatherings, discipleship opportunities, and youth leader development in alignment with the mission and vision at Federated by:
– Organizing and leading weekly gatherings and special events within the ministry calendar.
– Helping integrate youth into the greater church body through discipleship, mentoring, and service opportunities.
– Recruiting, training, supporting, and caring for youth and college ministry volunteers. – Developing teaching curriculum that is grounded in the exposition of God’s Word.
– Intentionally building relationships within the body of Federated.
– Communicating clearly and regularly with families to keep them updated on ministry activities.
