Adjunct Instructor of Art History 

Michelle Turner teaches the visual arts component of “Introduction to Visual Arts and Music” to undergraduate students at BCS. She holds a Masters in Art History and Certificate in Museum Studies from the University of St. Thomas. Before transitioning to teaching, Michelle worked for three years at Groveland Gallery in Minneapolis. Prior to Groveland Gallery, she volunteered and interned at a number of Twin Cities art institutions, including but not limited to the Minneapolis Institute of Art, the Minnesota Museum of American Art in St. Paul, and Midway Contemporary Art.

Outside of BCS, Michelle serves as an Adjunct Instructor in Art History at the University of Northwestern – St. Paul, the University of St. Thomas, and Bethel University. She also works works on the administrative side at the University of Northwestern – St. Paul and serves as the Denler Gallery Director.

Michelle lives in Minneapolis, attends Jubilee Community Church, and loves to sail.
