Adjunct Instructor of Mathematics

Nick believes that all education is intended to equip the learner in some way, and Christian higher education is uniquely focused to “equip the saints” to pursue and to perform the work of their God-given calling. Further, teaching is about learning and is a ministry to the learner. Learning should be a lifelong endeavor.

Nick has a fascination for technology.  He is passionate about science, law, and business, which overlap to form a multifaceted view of creation and innovation. He is an innovation and business leader, whose career has spanned contexts ranging from global high tech companies like IBM to an emerging technology start-up in Iowa. He is a trusted advisor to management, consultant, technical author, and inventor. He has served on industrial advisory boards of research centers at UCLA and Harvard University.

Nick and his wife, Laur, have two adult children.
