Academic Dean & Assistant Professor of Theology and Humanities
Zach Howard grew up in the San Francisco Bay area. Exposed to Scripture and the people of God from an early age, he matured as a young Christian through the investment of godly parents and his local church. After high school, Zach moved to Michigan to attend Hillsdale College where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in History. He and his wife, Betsy, then spent two years teaching together at a Classical Christian school in Cincinnati, OH. In 2012, they moved to the Phillips neighborhood in Minneapolis to attend Bethlehem Seminary. Zach completed his M.Div. in 2016, an M.A. at the University of St. Thomas in 2019, and currently serves Bethlehem College and Seminary as Director of College Programs & Assistant Professor of Theology and Humanities.
When not reading or teaching or grading, Zach can often be found building fortsĀ under the table with his four daughters, chasing plastic discs on the ultimate frisbee field, or wielding power tools for some project in the old Victorian triplex where he lives with his family and several college students.
