Thank you to the 100+ of you who attended our breakout session at the Desiring God Conference for Pastors last Tuesday at the Minneapolis Convention Center. At the session, President Tim Tomlinson presented his vision of Bethlehem College & Seminary. Three Scripture passages were key: 1 Corinthians 1:20-21, Colossians 1:15-18, and 2:1-3.
During Tim Tomlinson’s presentation of the vision of Bethlehem College & Seminary at the Desiring God Conference for Pastors, he listed eight characteristics of Bethlehem College & Seminary.
Bethlehem College and Seminary announces Jason S. DeRouchie as Associate Professor of Old Testament beginning Fall 2009. Dr. DeRouchie brings to BCS broad teaching, writing, and pastoral experience. He also comes with a passion to exalt Christ through the Old Testament, to confront the world with biblical truth, and to train the next generation of church leaders how better to handle their Hebrew Bibles.
At Bethlehem College & Seminary, one of the key Bible study methods taught is a method of discourse analysis called “arcing.” Arcing is a tool for following and documenting the flow of thought in the Biblical text.

Bethlehem College & Seminary announces Tim Tomlinson as its first president. Dr. Tomlinson leaves his position as Vice President for Global Education and Leadership Development at Northwestern College in St. Paul, MN, after being a faculty member and administrator there for the last 25 years.
